I think a fresh start in terms of art is much needed. it's not like I've been doing much of it anyways. I was so wrapped up in my Media Arts classes this semester that I had literally no time at all to commit to drawing, which is uber depressing

SO with that being said, I think I wanna start taking requests again. I'll probably be posting a more formal journal escribing the whole deal in detail.. but for now..

I'll start off doing freebies, just because I need the practice. I've been sketching on my free time, but I need some extra time to explore the loose ends and tighten up my style. defo need to post more recent art, as the stuff on here looks nothing like my current style.

preferably single characters as opposed to couples, but I'll honestly probably do whatever. like I said, eesh for practice.

last Monday. so far it's going great and i've started an etching. since Monday is Labor Day we won't be having class.. but on Wednesday i'll ink and print my first proof. so far i have scratched the image out onto the plate and etched it in acid. can't wait to see what the proof looks like <3

have just arrived home from class and the coffee shop.

i feel like a terrible artist for not uploading anything.
i promise i will soon. maybe this weekend, since it's a 3 day one.
especially cause i promised a trade. <3

i want to find the time to post but i always get distracted once i start thinking about it. i think the problem is that i want to draw on the computer more. granted, i could post my sketches..
i wish i had a scanner out and ready to use, or i would.

c ause i can feel myself starting to dislike my style. maybe it's the fact that i'm drawing on a way tinier screen than i was before. i just need to get bck into the swing of things anyways. PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE

so it's creeping me out that it's been pretty much exactly a year since i've drawn on the computer. like exactly.
i was looking at my older journals.. i'm not dorming anymore, lol. not going to the same school, i'm back home to finish out my senior year. omg changes!

i hope i can keep up this "drawing" motivation, lol.
